Just installed Sierra and wanted to see what works. So far from my testing the below work for me.

I ran through all the apps that I have installed on my 2015 rMBP 13', and did as much quick testing as I could to compile a list of fairly common third party apps that do/don't work in macOS Sierra. Feel free to add to this list as you see fit and I'll try to keep it up to date.
If you need to uninstall Office first, see Uninstall Office from a PC or Uninstall Office for Mac. Note: The steps to install the 2016 or 2013 versions of Office Professional Plus, Office Standard, or a stand-alone app such as Word or Project might be different if you got Office through.
For the purposes of this test, I did not check built in/Apple made apps (with the exception of Final Cut) since that will largely be discussed in the bugs thread. Although I was unable to load any content in Time Machine (even from backups made since the update) which was frustrating. But that's another thread. Anyway, on to the list.

Hi George, The new Office 2016 for Mac can only be run on Mac OS X version 10.10 or later. For your Mac, Office for Mac 2011 is supported on it (Office for Mac 2011 will run on Mac OS X v10.5.8 or later). I would suggest you upgrade your system to the latest version (if it is supported by your Mac hardware), then install the new 2016 version of Office on it: Regards, Ethan Hua Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help, and unmark the answers if they provide no help.
